The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Lead Economist to join our Macroprudential Surveillance Department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of macroprudential policies aimed at promoting financial stability and sustainability. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting economic analysis, monitoring financial markets, and providing strategic insights to support MAS's policy objectives.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

Conduct in-depth economic analysis and research to inform macroprudential policy decisions.,Monitor financial markets, including banking, insurance, and capital markets, to assess risks and opportunities.,Develop and maintain economic models and forecasting tools to support policy analysis.,Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather data and insights for policy development.,Prepare and present policy recommendations to senior management and regulatory bodies.,Stay updated with the latest economic trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in macroprudential surveillance.,Provide strategic advice and guidance to the team on economic and financial matters.,Participate in policy discussions and decision-making processes within the department.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.,Master's degree or PhD in Economics, Finance, or a related field is preferred.,Minimum of 5 years of experience in economic analysis, financial market monitoring, or related fields.,Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in statistical software and econometric tools.,Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex economic concepts to diverse audiences.,Proven track record of working in a regulatory or policy-oriented environment.,Knowledge of macroprudential policy frameworks and financial stability analysis is a plus.,Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
